Acquiring the privilege to come to America can be quite expensive and complicated. As such, I offer very reasonable rates for my legal services. The following is a list of typical services which I provide and the fees associated with them. Please note, this is not an exclusive list of services. I also aid in extending visas, transferring visas, foreign adoptions, asylum/refugee cases, etc. Please contact the office for specific information.
H1 (corporate/individual) Temporary Specialty Workers - Basic legal fee $1,750 plus incurred expenses and USCIS filing fees.
Additional expenses may include: USCIS filing fee: $1,570 in most cases Miscellaneous expenses (mailing, copies, etc.) - approx. $100 If the beneficiary holds no U.S. degrees, a credentials evaluation may be necessary. There are several professional evaluators which I can recommend. For H-4 (accompanying relative) visas I charge an additional $300 legal fees for each additional applicant.
L1 Intercompany Transfers - Basic legal fee $2,500 plus expenses and USCIS filing fees
Additional expenses may include: USCIS filing fee: $320 in most cases Miscellaneous expenses (mailing, copies, etc.) - approx. $100 Please note that there could be additional expenses if the L1 is complicated.
Green Card through Labor Certification—Basic legal fee $3,500 plus expenses and USCIS filing fees (does not include spouse and children)
Additional expenses may include: USCIS filing fee: I-140 $475, I-485 $1,010 Advertizing (if not exempted from requirement): $600-$1500 Miscellaneous expenses (mailing, copies, etc.) - approx. $400 Please note that there could be additional expenses if the labor certification has additional complications.
Green Card through Family-Based Relationship (Marriage, Relative, etc.) - Basic legal fee $1,500 plus expenses and USCIS filing fees. Each additional relative is $300 plus USCIS filing fees.
Additional expenses may include: USCIS filing fee: I-130 $355, I-485 (includes work card and travel document) $1,010 Miscellaneous expenses (mailing, copies, etc.) - approx. $100 Please note that there could be additional expenses if the family-based application has additional complications
K-1 Fiance(e) - Basic legal fee $750 plus expenses and USCIS filing fees.
Additional expenses may include: USCIS filing fee: I-129F $455, DS Forms: Varies Miscellaneous expenses (mailing, copies, etc.) - approx. $150

Regular Hourly Charges Although most work is done on a flat-fee basis, individual cases may demand an hourly fee. I currently charge $200.00 per hour for such cases and $250.00 per hour for actual court time.

CONSULTATIONS - All individual clients have three options for consultations as set forth below. Corporations/organizations that contemplate filing multiple petitions and have ongoing needs for immigration counsel should contact me directly for corporate rates.
Paid Phone Consultation Please remit by check (drawn on US dollars), international/US money order, Western Union, or other wire or electronic service (click on one of the buttons below for quick payment by credit card or bank transfer), $200.00 to "The Law Office of Brent K. Newcomb." Enclose your specific questions, your phone number(s), all information requested in the Consultation Form, and the times when I can reach you and the time zone in which you reside. By the next business day following the receipt of your payment and your information I will call you to discuss your matter. If I believe it is fair not to charge you, I will return your payment. If you are calling from a country other than U.S., please enclose an additional amount of $50.00. All consultations are for up to 30 minutes.
Paid E-Mail Consultation Consultation by e-mail is $100.00 for up to 20 minutes of attorney time answering your questions, analyzing your situation and making recommendations. Please remit by check (drawn on US dollars), international/US money order, Western Union, or other wire or electronic service (click on one of the buttons below for quick payment by credit card or bank transfer), $100.00 to "The Law Office of Brent K. Newcomb." E-mail your specific questions along with all information requested in the Consultation Form. All consultations by e-mail will be answered within 24 hours after receiving payment.
Consultation in Person Initial in-person consultation is available by appointment. The cost is $100.00. Typically, this amount can be credited towards any work we do on your case. To set up an in-person meeting either e-mail your phone number and the times when I can reach you to schedule an appointment or call me at one of the numbers listed below. If I am unavailable, please leave your name and number where you can be reached and I will call you back as soon as possible. |
