Acquiring the privilege to come to America can be quite expensive and complicated. As such, I offer very reasonable rates for my legal services. The following is a list of typical services which I provide and the fees associated with them. Please note, this is not an exclusive list of services. I also aid in extending visas, transferring visas, foreign adoptions, asylum/refugee cases, etc. Please contact the office for specific information. H1 (corporate/individual) Temporary Specialty Workers - Basic legal fee $1,550 plus incurred expenses and INS filing fees. Additional expenses may include: US CIS filing fee: base fee $185, $750/$1500, $500 fraud prevention (in certain cases) Miscellaneous expenses (mailing, copies, etc.) - approx. $100 If the beneficiary holds no U.S. degrees, a credentials evaluation is required--$300 For H-4 (accompanying relative) visas I charge an additional $400 legal fees for each additional applicant. L1 Intraompany Transfers - Basic legal fee $3,000 plus expenses and INS filing fees Additional expenses may include: US CIS filing fee: base fee $185, $750/$1500, $500 fraud prevention (in certain cases) Miscellaneous expenses (mailing, copies, etc.) - approx. $100 Please note that there could be additional expenses if the L1 is complicated. Green Card through Labor Certification--Basic legal fee $3,200 plus expenses and INS filing fees (does not include spouse and children) Additional expenses may include: US CIS filing fee: I-140 $190, I-485 $315, I-765 $175 Advertising: $600-$1500 Miscellaneous expenses (mailing, copies, etc.) - approx. $400 Please note that there may be additional expenses. Green Card through Family-Based Relationship (Marriage, Relative, etc.) - Basic legal fee $1,500 plus expenses and INS filing fees. Each additional relative is $700 plus INS filing fees. Additional expenses may include: US CIS filing fee: I-130 $185, I-485 $315, I-765 $175, I-131 $165 Miscellaneous expenses (mailing, copies, etc.) - approx. $100 Please note that there could be additional expenses if the family-based application is complicated. K-1 Fiance(e) - Basic legal fee $850 plus expenses and INS filing fees. Additional expenses may include: US CIS filing fee: I-129 $165, OF Forms: Varies Miscellaneous expenses (mailing, copies, etc.) - approx. $150 For other services, please contact the office directly. |

Regular Hourly Charges Although most work is done on a flat-fee basis, individual cases may demand an hourly fee. I currently charge $150.00 per hour for such cases and $250.00 per hour for actual court time. Document Translation Please see Translation Page for rates. Corporations/organizations that contemplate filing multiple petitions and have ongoing needs for immigration counsel should contact me directly for corporate rates. Paid Phone Consultation Please remit by check (drawn on US dollars), international/US money order, Western Union, or other wire or electronic service (click on one of the buttons below for quick payment by credit card or bank transfer), $125.00 to "The Law Office of Brent K. Newcomb." Enclose your specific questions, your phone number(s), all information requested in the Consultation Form, and the times when I can reach you and the time zone in which you reside. By the next business day following the receipt of your payment and your information I will call you to discuss your matter. If I believe it is fair not to charge you, I will return your payment. If you are calling from a country other than U.S., please enclose an additional amount of $50.00. All consultations are for up to 45 minutes. Paid E-Mail Consultation Consultation by e-mail is $125.00 for up to 45 minutes of attorney time answering your questions, analyzing your situation and making recommendations. Please remit by check (drawn on US dollars), international/US money order, Western Union, or other wire or electronic service (click on one of the buttons below for quick payment by credit card or bank transfer), $125.00 to "The Law Office of Brent K. Newcomb." E-mail your specific questions along with all information requested in the Consultation Form. All consultations by e-mail will be answered within 24 hours after receiving payment. Consultation in Person Initial in-person consultation is available by appointment. The cost is $125.00 per hour.
